A presentation by Janine Hart, expert in Therapeutic Play, manager of Humboldt Regional Newcomer Gateway, and immigrant to rural Saskatchewan. December 14, 2011, 1:30 p.m. - Interview Skills Workshops hosted by CanSask Career & Employment Services. Location: 400 Burns Ave, Melfort. Pre-register at the front desk or by phone at 306-752-6243. Upcoming dates: February 15, 2012 and April 18, 2012.
December 3, 2011, 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Santa Claus Day. Come for treats and pictures with Santa at the Diamond North Credit Union in Nipawin, 101 101st Ave West.
December 1, 2011, 7:00 p.m. - Carol Festival at the Nipawin United Church. Featuring local talent and community singing. Admission by donation, refreshments available.
November 28, 2011, 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. - International Holiday Potluck. Northeast Newcomer Services invites you to a Holiday Potluck. Bring your favourite holiday food and share it with everyone. This event is for the entire family. Children are very welcome. Santa himself will make an appearance. If you have a certain talent and would like to perform at the event, please contact us. We would be happy to schedule you in for our program. Location: Tisdale Civic Centre, 901-99th Ave, Tisdale. You must register by DeceNovember 21.
